| Services We Provide We assist single parent families and families that are low or no income households with food, clothing, if needed, and when available, housewares, and personal hygeine products. The Family Care Ministries also works with a temporary agency called Personnel Resources in Dallas, TX managed by Mrs. Maria Morin. She has been gracious enough to help us and our families out. We are announced on the radio Classificados 1440 am by Mayte Lopez from 12pm-1pm every so often. This is how these families hear about us. Thank you to both of these women, they have and will keep being a blessing to us. |
| There are requirements that must be met in order to qualify for free assistance. An application must be filled out, But no one will ever be turned down. |
| Every year, we still have what we call our PROJECTS (children are the reason for these projects). These projects are at the beginning of the school year we pick about 20-30 low income families and provide these children with school supplies, and for Thanksgiving with the help of ordinary christians and The Lord we put a Thanksgiving dinner together for these families. During the Christmas season, because we care deeply for these children who all deserve a new toy on Christmas Day, we pick the most needy families and hand out a toy to each child, a new set of either towels or sheets for their mother and whatever else The Lord provides for that day. We all could use a break around these times and Mary recalls back then when she couldn't afford to buy a gift for her son, though she was a working mother, so we make an extra effort for the children. |
